The operational area is led by a unit manager with dedicated and responsible employees who are now looking for a new colleague for the housing support group. The housing support in Farsta is based in Gubbängen and serves adults aged 18 and older with mental and/or neuropsychiatric disabilities who have a support decision according to the Social Services Act. Your role Support for clients is individually tailored and consists of both practical and social activities. You will work with clients to perform, train, and motivate them in all aspects of daily routines and living. Your tasks may include supporting and motivating clients with household management, daily administration, shopping, and other errands, as well as providing support in interactions with authorities, representatives, and healthcare. Your qualifications and experience For this position, you need: - A nursing education with a focus on psychiatry or another qualification deemed equivalent by the employer. - Experience working with the target group as a housing supporter or in a similar role. - Good computer skills. In working with the target group, it is important that you are attentive, empathetic, and have an understanding of various mental disabilities, their manifestations, and symptoms, but most importantly, how to interact with individuals with these conditions. We need you to have good collaboration skills as you will have frequent contact with both clients and colleagues. You also need to be self-driven as the role involves working independently. Being structured, flexible, and pedagogical is just as important as being stable and resilient.
