Full-time Housing Support Worker, requirement: Nursing Assistant

Please note: For this position, you need to be a trained nursing assistant. You will primarily visit clients who receive housing support. If a housing support client cancels their appointment or declines, you will attend to home care clients during that time. Type of position: Probationary employment 100% Education requirement: Nursing assistant Start date: Immediately Working hours: 07:30-16:30 Schedule: Four-week schedule (this means you work on a schedule that spans four weeks, with every other week including weekend work). 100% - 37/37 Salary: According to the collective agreement of the organization (Almega Care Entrepreneurs) The probationary period lasts for 6 months from the date of employment according to the collective agreement. To work in the organization, it is advantageous if you: - Have knowledge, experience, and interest in working with individuals who have various forms of dementia or mental health issues. - Have worked for an extended period as a housing supporter and/or in home care or elderly care. - Are comfortable communicating with authorities via written correspondence and phone. - Have a very good command of Swedish, both spoken and written, as you will be visiting clients who may have difficulty understanding and speaking, and you will need to communicate with authorities, document in journals, and read instructions. - Are social, persistent, patient, stress-resistant, proactive, and creative in your work approach. - Can handle stress and plan and structure your work effectively. - Have good local knowledge of inner Stockholm as you will be navigating using public transport or walking. Finally, we place great importance on personal suitability, such as knowledge, interest, initiative, communication/interaction, and personality traits. Job responsibilities: You will primarily visit clients who receive housing support. During times when no housing support clients are available, as well as in cases of cancellations, you will attend to home care clients. You will follow a service schedule and visit clients in their own homes to perform the services that have been approved according to the assistance decision. For housing support clients, this includes, among other things, liaising with authorities, managing bills, and planning and structuring the clients' daily lives. For home care clients, this includes, among other things, assisting with personal hygiene and intimate care, showering, cooking, social interaction, cleaning, laundry, shopping, accompanying clients to various facilities, and walking. We work extensively to motivate clients so that we can perform the services, using various work methods as tools. You need to be interested in learning and developing methods for this. Who we are: Stockholm's Dementia and Special Team is a home care company that provides services in clients' own homes. The organization offers home care, escort services, respite care, and housing support. The services primarily target clients with varying degrees of dementia, mental health issues, disabilities, and substance abuse problems. We have team leaders and an administrator who staff the office during the day, where you can turn for assistance in your daily work. We use the time reporting system Paragå within home care, where employees log in and out of each client visit using mobile phones, NFC tags, and document directly on-site in the client's journal. Paragå monitors logins via GPS. For housing support clients, employees document in the organization's scheduling system using a mobile phone. Where we are and how you get around to clients: We have clients in 8 different districts, and you will start and end each work shift from Södermalm, where our office is located, regardless of which district you are in during the day. You will get around to clients using public transport or walking (the organization does not have any cars). An SL card is a requirement for this position.
