Are you longing for a meaningful job where you can truly make a difference alongside others? Do you want to work in a non-profit organization where the individual is always the focus?
We are looking for employees for our residences at Mikaelgården!
**About Mikaelgården**
Mikaelgården offers accommodations for children and young people within the framework of LSS and HVB and operates a primary school and special needs school.
We are a non-profit therapeutic educational organization, and our school has a Waldorf focus.
At Mikaelgården, we have created a therapeutic environment for children who need more than temporary interventions. The students, who are of primary school age, come from all over the country and exhibit a wide range of psychological and social variations. Common diagnoses include ADD, ADHD, Autism, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, and Tourette's syndrome.
Mikaelgården is beautifully located a short distance from Järna center. Classrooms, assembly hall, dining hall, and residences are all situated on the same grounds, creating a vibrant context that fosters a special sense of safety and community.
We offer a warm and pleasant atmosphere with a clear daily rhythm. Here, opportunities for social training are provided, as well as practice in all aspects of daily life tasks. Our fundamental idea is to strengthen the child's inherent abilities, and we are convinced that there are great developmental opportunities within each individual. We work individually with all children to create security, wholeness, context, and development.
At Mikaelgården, there are seven residences in close proximity to the school. Each residence accommodates 4-5 children/youths. Three of our residences are licensed under LSS, and four have licenses for HVB.
Each residence has a unit manager who, along with a team of 6-7 employees, is responsible for "their" residence. Great consideration is given to meeting each student's individual needs. All children have their own contact person in the residence.
