About this role

Skåningegård Omsorg AB Do you want a fun and meaningful job? A job where you work with people who may not always think like everyone else but can enrich your day, and where you have the chance to make a difference in someone’s daily life. Our work is guided by our values of respect, commitment, responsibility, and a focus on living conditions. Our vision is to create quality of life based on each individual's needs. Our operations are located in the picturesque Dänningelanda, about 10 kilometers south of Växjö. In Dänningelanda, we have several facilities, but we are currently looking for someone to work at Ainagården, which is a group home with 6 places. You should have an interest in providing care and support to residents with various disabilities. In the facility, there are individuals with diverse needs in psychiatry, autism spectrum disorders, intellectual disabilities, as well as individuals with significant care needs/wheelchair users who require support in all daily activities. We are seeking dedicated support staff who will do everything possible to ensure that the residents at Ainagården feel comfortable and involved in their daily lives. We want you to work based on a low-arousal approach, be open to changes occurring in the operation, and be able to collaborate with your colleagues according to the routines and structures in place at the workplace. Employment: We offer a wellness allowance of 2500 SEK/year. Start date is February 2026 or by agreement. The position is approximately 85-100% full-time. We apply a probationary period of 6 months and individual salary setting. We have a collective agreement with Kommunal. Your mission: You will be responsible for providing individually tailored support to residents in all aspects of daily life to enhance their own abilities. You will assist residents with daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and personal hygiene. You will always start from each resident's individual needs and their right to self-determination. A significant part of the work involves contributing to the residents' independence and well-being based on their individual circumstances. You should be active and enjoy planning and taking initiatives with the residents, as well as adapting your communication so that the residents at Ainagården feel understood and respected. The work includes administrative tasks such as social documentation and the creation of implementation plans, which requires good computer skills. You should have a professional yet close, motivating, and trust-building approach towards the residents you are responsible for. Our services involve working days, evenings, and weekends (separate night shifts). You will work according to a rotating schedule over 6 weeks. Qualifications: You should be a trained nursing assistant or have another equivalent education with a pedagogical focus. You should have good computer skills and experience in documentation. As a person, you are responsible, secure, engaged, and have a positive attitude. You must have a B driver's license. You should be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written. Meritorious: Education or work experience in Low-Arousal Approach - Studio 3, experience working within LSS, experience with clear pedagogical methods, and knowledge of documentation according to IBIC. We require a criminal record extract. We process applications continuously during the application period.
