In Dänningelanda, we have several operations, but we are currently looking for you to work at Jansgård, which is a group home with 6 places.
We are seeking two dedicated support staff members, offering accommodation for adults with disabilities according to categories 1 and 2 under the LSS (Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). We want you to work based on a low-arousal approach, be open to changes occurring in the organization, and be able to collaborate with your colleagues according to the routines and structures in place at the workplace.
Employment We offer a wellness allowance of 2500 SEK/year. Start date in January 2026 or by agreement. Employment rate 80-100%. We apply a probationary period of 6 months and individual salary setting. We have a collective agreement with Kommunal.
Your mission: You are responsible for providing individually tailored support to the residents in all aspects of daily life to strengthen their own abilities. You will assist the residents with daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and personal hygiene. You will always start from each resident's individual needs and their right to self-determination. A significant part of the work involves contributing to the residents' independence and well-being based on their circumstances. You should be active and enjoy planning and taking initiatives with the residents, as well as adapting your communication so that the residents at Skåningegård feel understood and respected. The job includes administrative tasks such as social documentation, creating implementation plans, etc., which requires good computer skills. You should have a professional yet close, motivating, and trust-building approach towards the residents you are responsible for. Our services involve work during the day, evening, and weekends (separate night shifts). You will work according to a rotating schedule.
Qualifications: You should be a trained nursing assistant or have another equivalent education with a pedagogical focus. You should have good computer skills and experience with documentation. As a person, you are responsible, secure, engaged, and have a positive attitude. You must have a B driver's license. You should be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.
Meritorious: Education or work experience in low-arousal approaches, Studio 3, or experience working within LSS. You have experience working with clarifying pedagogy. Knowledge of documentation according to IBIC is also desirable. We require a criminal record extract.
