Residential Support Worker, Hourly Employee

We are looking for: Hourly employees during the absence of regular staff A driver's license and access to a car are required! Mariagården is a social therapeutic LSS operation inspired by Anthroposophy, located about twenty kilometers outside Umeå. We have five group homes and a comprehensive daily activity program. Mariagården has been operated since 1964 by an employee association with no profit motive. About the residence: As a residential support worker, you will provide our residents with the support they need in their daily lives through personal care and assistance, as well as facilitating their leisure time and weekends. You will offer support and help so that residents can manage all the tasks that occur in a home. You will support and enable residents' choices to participate in social activities based on their wishes and opportunities. You will provide continuity and security in the social environment. Your tasks will include written documentation as well as managing the chores in communal areas and staff spaces. Are you the one we are looking for? You should be secure, calm, and able to work with low affect. You need to have a sense of order and structure. You will be part of a team and therefore need to be able to collaborate, work according to established routines, and communicate with others. We prefer that you have experience in similar work and that you have a care education or equivalent. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
