Vårdsätravägen 78 is a residence within social psychiatry for adults across all diagnostic groups in psychiatry. We work to build relationships and create conditions for an improved quality of life and reduced social exclusion. Our approach is preventive, low-arousal, and based on individual needs and possibilities. The residence is located close to nature and has easy access to public transportation. Job Description As a residential assistant, you make a difference in people's lives. Your role is to support our clients in achieving greater independence both at home and in social contexts. You motivate and assist them in their daily lives, ensure that their basic care needs are met, and help with household chores and practical tasks. The work also involves implementing care plans, collaborating with colleagues at the residence, and maintaining contact with relatives, guardians, and administrators. The position involves working according to a rotating schedule with day, evening, and weekend shifts, as well as on-call duties. Qualifications We are looking for someone with a nursing assistant diploma with a focus on psychiatry or other education that the employer deems relevant for the position. To succeed in this role, you need to have experience working with individuals with mental disabilities. The job requires good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. A valid driver's license (B) is an advantage. As a person, you are calm, attentive, and accommodating in your interactions. You have the interest, willingness, and ability to help others and strive to deliver solutions. Furthermore, you are flexible and can easily adapt to changing circumstances. You can quickly change your perspective and approach. Last but not least, you are good at structuring, planning, and prioritizing your work.
