Blomsterfonden – for a safer and richer life for the elderly
Blomsterfonden is a non-profit organization that works to ensure that older individuals have a safe home, professional care, and a meaningful daily life.
We operate five senior living facilities with vibrant social communities, our own home care services, and four nursing homes where secure care is the focus. Our goal is to provide elderly people with a richer life – filled with community, compassion, and joy. Our work is guided by our ethical values: humanity, participation, clarity, and honesty.
The association was founded in 1921 by Alma Hedin. Under her leadership, a special spirit emerged – the Blomsterfonden spirit – which still characterizes our operations today. We continue Alma's mission by cherishing what is at the core of every human life: recognizing the individual's capacity, will, and emotional life.
Blomsterfonden also actively works to support relatives. We organize and participate in various forums to spread knowledge about the needs and life situations of the elderly.

We primarily operate nursing homes and our own home care services in Stockholm and Danderyd. Our daily work is characterized by humanity, clarity, participation, and honesty.
We are very pleased with the excellent results we have received in both the Socialstyrelsen customer satisfaction survey and the employee survey. We are located in Greater Stockholm, and as an employee, you will become part of our community of approximately 500 staff members.
We are looking for you who are a qualified nursing assistant with several years of professional experience in the field. Experience in dementia care is particularly advantageous.

In your caregiving work, you will work closely with the residents, which means that, based on approved interventions according to SoL, you will support the residents with ADL training, rehabilitation, social contacts, personal hygiene, meal support, etc.
Saltsjösten is a brand new care and nursing home in Fisksätra center.

Qualifications: You should be a trained nursing assistant with 1500 credits and be able to provide proof from the Socialstyrelsen regarding your protected professional title. Experience in dementia care is highly meritorious. You are a person who demonstrates a good attitude towards residents, relatives, and colleagues. It is important that you have good communication skills and are fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as have good computer skills.
Other: The work is scheduled for day/evening shifts and every other weekend.
Salary according to agreement. Blomsterfonden applies individual salary setting.
The workplace is covered by a collective agreement.
