Blombackaskolan is seeking a Social Pedagogue for grades 4-6 About the Job Blombackaskolan is a dual-parallel F–9 school with approximately 500 students and 70 staff members. The school is located by Torekällberget with convenient public transport connections, centrally in Södertälje, and boasts a fantastic nature-oriented schoolyard. Your Responsibilities As a Social Pedagogue at Blombackaskolan, you will be part of the student health team and work in a health-promoting, preventive, and remedial capacity. Your mission is based on the school's core values work, where you systematically address discrimination and bullying, contributing to students' safety, study environment, and learning throughout the school day. Your daily tasks involve collaborating with educators in subject teams and working groups for grades 4-6 to help our students succeed. You will be responsible for managing and resolving conflicts, contacting guardians, working preventively, and supporting mentors in values education while following up on absenteeism. You will be part of the safety team and work with a K-9 perspective in student health. You will also be responsible for the after-school program for grades 4-6 in the afternoons. Who Are You? You have a genuine interest in students' development both in teaching and during social activities. You see yourself as an essential part of creating good conditions for students' growth, and you have a strong ability to recognize each student's individual needs. You are professional and confident in your role and collaborate well with other colleagues. You have the ability to listen and communicate clearly and solution-focused with the goal of achieving results. Personal Qualities: - You easily build good relationships and collaborate with students, guardians, colleagues, the school's student health team, and school leadership. - You work towards a sustainable organization where you share knowledge, take responsibility, and support your colleagues. - You have strong analytical and reflective skills and continuously develop your professional role and the school's work. - You strive to keep the values education alive every school day. - You have a good ability to follow and assess students' knowledge development in collaboration with the student in a varied manner. Requirements: - You have a degree with qualifications as a Social Pedagogue for grades F-6. - You are well-acquainted with the school's core values work as described in Chapter 1, Lgr22, and have a student-centered approach. - You are a clear leader with the ability to adapt your leadership style to the student group you encounter. - You have a strong ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and communicate with students, guardians, and colleagues in a way that takes responsibility for the message and ensures the recipient understands your intent. - You have experience with DF response and follow-up of absenteeism in Vklass. Meritorious: - You have experience and skill in using digital tools. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. We Offer You A parental leave substitute for one year with the possibility of extension at Blombackaskolan as a Social Pedagogue for grades 4-6, along with responsibility for the after-school program for grades 4-6.
