Your Role We are seeking an engaged and business-driven manager for the Sourcing section of our Procurement Department at Saab Underwater Systems in Linköping. In this role, you will lead a team of approximately 15 employees consisting of strategic and operational buyers responsible for the entire Saab Underwater Systems supplier base. As a leader with us, you'll become a central force in inspiring, supporting, and coaching your employees, while creating the best conditions for them to understand their role in the company's broader context. Your focus is to create a work environment where employees can develop and work towards both their individual goals and the company's collective success. You will report directly to the Head of Procurement and will have an active and strategic role in the company's business. Your insight and understanding of our priorities are crucial. You will work closely with management to ensure that the section's work aligns with the company's overall goals and strategies, and contribute to the long-term development of our procurement department. As Sourcing Section Manager, you will have a central responsibility for ensuring material availability and delivery capability. You will work proactively to identify and manage risks in the supply chain, ensure timely material delivery, and maintain quality that meets our high standards. Your ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, both nationally and internationally, will be crucial to achieving these goals. You'll become part of the Procurement Organization in the Underwater Systems business unit at Kockums, which designs, develops, and builds the coolest unmanned underwater systems in the world. Always with the goal of protecting people, society (and seas). With a product portfolio ranging from state-of-the-art torpedoes and military and commercial ROVs to autonomous vessels (and more), we are a leading player in the field. Your Profile We are looking for someone who is a confident and inspiring leader with experience in procurement and business-driven operations - preferably from larger industrial organizations. You are motivated by creating structure, setting goals, and contributing to people's growth. To succeed in the role, we believe you have: * Documented experience in leadership and personnel management. * Experience in strategic/operational procurement, preferably in an international environment. * Ability to lead through goals, prioritization, and trust. * An inclusive and communicative leadership style that creates engagement and safety. * Academic degree in economics or technology, or equivalent experience. * Excellent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. As a person, you are clear, present, and unpretentious. You inspire collaboration and have a natural ability to create direction and community. You will work closely with our partners and suppliers, both within and outside Sweden, so travel is a natural part of the position. Your location will be at our office in Linköping.
