About the Position As a measurement engineer at Prestando, you will work in a central role within quality control and production support. You are responsible for measuring details from production using advanced 3D measuring machines, Hexagon PC-DMIS, and ensuring components meet customer requirements. You'll receive customer drawings, develop measurement programs in the machine, and analyze results. If something doesn't align, you'll collaborate with colleagues to find the right solution. The work requires precision and understanding of drawings and tolerances at the hundredth level. Prestando works with a wide variety of products, including sheet metal components for Scania. The measurement engineer role also includes fixture calibration, handling external complaints using 8D methodology, and providing technical support such as developing spare parts or 3D-printed fixtures. You'll work closely with production and workshop colleagues to ensure smooth manufacturing. Key Responsibilities: • Measurement and analysis of components using 3D measuring machine • Development and programming of measurement programs • Fixture calibration and complaint handling according to 8D What We're Looking For You have education or experience in measurement technology, mechanical engineering, or CNC programming and thrive in a technical environment where precision and quality are crucial. You are proficient in reading drawings and understanding form and position tolerances. Experience with PC-DMIS and Hexagon is meritorious. As a person, you are driven and committed.
