About the Program
Professionals Nord is launching this successful program again in collaboration with Satellite Group, this time with a new and exciting focus!
Through our initiative, we are shaping the next generation of Contact Line Technicians, and you could be one of them. During the introductory period with Satellite Group, you'll develop the skills required to quickly become confident and self-assured in the role of contact line technician.
The initiative is a close collaboration between Professionals Nord and Strukton Rail. After completing the program, you'll be employed by Professionals Nord, and during the first 18 months, you'll work as a consultant for our client Strukton Rail. Assuming the collaboration goes well, the goal and intention is continued employment with Strukton Rail.

About the Introductory Period
The introductory period is based on the Accelerated Learning method, where short theoretical segments are combined with practical elements to provide you with all the tools you need to succeed in the role. During the period, you'll develop skills in areas such as:
• Basic Electricity
• Safety
• Standards and Regulations for Railway Work
• Contact Line Systems
• Control Systems & Programming
We offer study support throughout the entire introductory period.
Timeline:
Kick-off Event: February 5, 2026
Introduction: February 9 - April 24, 2026 (including internship)
First Day at Strukton: April 27, 2026

About the Position
Strukton Rail is a leading player in railway infrastructure, focusing on operation, maintenance, and modernization, creating sustainable and safe transport solutions with a strong emphasis on safety and quality. You will work with everything related to the railway's electrical systems. The work includes maintenance, repairs, and installation of contact lines. You'll work near switches and ensure electricity supply along the tracks functions correctly.
The position involves a varied and practical daily routine where no two days are the same. You'll become a key player in the railway's electrical system, with varying work hours, primarily daytime and nights, but weekends and on-call duties may also occur. You'll work both independently and in pairs, focusing on maintaining the highest standard in a crucial part of railway infrastructure.
We're Looking for Someone Who:
• Is technically inclined and enjoys working both outdoors and physically!
• Has the motivation and interest to make a career change
• Has passed the required tests (MAP & Matrigma)
• Passes a health examination (Booked by PN for final candidates)
• Has a High School Diploma
• Is 18 or older
• Holds a Class B Driver's License
• Speaks and writes Swedish and English fluently
• Passes a background check
