About the Position and Our Department
Working as a nurse in an orthopedic care unit is varied and exciting. Here you'll meet patients with diverse care needs. We offer a broad foundation in nursing, whether you are new to the profession or have a few years of experience. The introduction will be tailored to your previous experience.
Orthopedics involves treating fractures, other injuries, and pain conditions of the musculoskeletal system. At the Orthopedic Clinic, we handle acute trauma around the clock and perform planned surgeries such as hip and knee replacements. We work in a cross-professional team with doctors, nursing assistants, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and others, sharing collective responsibility for our patients.
We are now offering a position with day and evening shift work.
We Offer:
- Individually adapted introduction
- Opportunity for specialist training in orthopedics
- Areas of responsibility you're passionate about and the chance to join various sections
- Internal training
- Opportunity for innovative approaches to future orthopedics
- Close and engaged leadership
As part of our major initiative, we offer nurses a specialist training in orthopedic nursing and a 15 ECTS education in orthopedics in Malmö.
