Björkstadens Animal Clinic is seeking a licensed veterinarian for a temporary position!
We are a wonderful team in need of a cheerful and dedicated veterinarian for a long-term temporary role. Evidensia Björkstadens Animal Clinic is located in the center and boasts high expertise, many returning clients, and a family-like atmosphere among both staff and customers. If you wish to work and develop alongside a fantastic team that values a pleasant workplace, high-quality care, and a good work-life balance, this could be the job for you!
About the job:
We are looking for a licensed veterinarian to work in the outpatient department, and possibly also in the dental and surgical department depending on interest and competence.
What do we offer?
We are a team of 13 staff members, comprising 4 veterinarians (including 1 specialist), 5 licensed veterinary nurses, 2 Level 3 animal caregivers, 1 animal caregiver, and 1 receptionist, most of whom have worked together for many years. We care deeply about one another, our patients, and their owners. We support each other and promote an open environment. The clinic is well-equipped with radiology, ultrasound, an internal lab, as well as surgical and dental departments with radiology and gas anesthesia. Working hours are weekdays and daytime; we have a high patient capacity but also prioritize a good working environment and manageable workload. A large portion of our patients are outpatient cases, ranging from medical examinations to follow-ups and simpler outpatient cases. We take pride in our clinic, which has high competence, good equipment, a lovely atmosphere, and a strong focus on finding solutions that benefit both pet owners and staff.
Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a licensed veterinarian for a long-term temporary position. It would be beneficial if you have a few years of experience in the field. Experience in a dental department or with ultrasound examinations is advantageous.
As a person, you are communicative and value long-term, positive relationships with pet owners and animals, wishing to become part of our fantastic team. You are positive, engaged, and have a good ability to collaborate. The workplace atmosphere and group dynamics are of utmost importance and something we take joint responsibility for.
We value humility, lack of pretension, curiosity, and a strong desire for mutual development—both for yourself and the entire clinic—and we offer the same in return.
