JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking an engaged and present Deputy Principal for our adapted primary school. You will be responsible for a specific unit within the adapted primary school, with the Principal of Mogaskolan 4-6 as your direct supervisor.
As Deputy Principal, you are part of the school's management and have overall responsibility for leading, developing, and organizing daily work in the unit. The role involves driving school development, ensuring teaching quality, and supporting teachers and other staff with a special focus on individualized instruction and ensuring each student can reach their full potential.
You will also have personnel management responsibilities for educators in the unit and systematically work to create a good work environment, clear structure, and sustainable work climate. The role additionally includes financial responsibility, which means planning, following up, and taking responsibility for the unit's budget in consultation with the principal. You will ensure that resources are used efficiently and in line with the school's goals and priorities.
Beyond the assignment as Deputy Principal for the adapted primary school, you will also have an important role in student health work at Mogaskolan F6. In this assignment, you will coordinate the school's student health team with special responsibility for issues related to safety and study environment. This means leading and coordinating efforts in promoting and preventing safety work, focusing on creating an inclusive, calm, and supportive learning environment for all students. You will follow up on work in collaboration with the school's safety team and contribute to the school's overall strategies for sustainable learning.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are seeking someone who is a confident and clear leader with a good ability to create structure, build relationships, and drive development in a school environment. You have a holistic perspective on the school's mission and understand the importance of collaboration, quality, and long-term sustainability in both teaching and work environment.
Requirements:
Teaching certification with special education competence and experience from adapted primary school.
Leadership experience in education, such as Deputy Principal, team leader, or development leader.
Good knowledge of governing documents, student health work, and school development.
Ability to lead personnel and operations with focus on structure, work environment, and collaboration.
Experience working with budgets and financial follow-up in school operations.
Meriting:
Education in principal program or other leadership training.
Previous experience leading student health or safety work.
Experience working in municipal primary school or similar public sector.
