About the Operation
Ängenäs is a modern care facility offering care and support for individuals with dementia and/or cognitive impairment. The facility currently consists of 45 apartments of 35 m², all located on one floor. Ängenäs provides a safe, calm, and stimulating environment both inside and outside for residents, relatives, and staff. We work with a person-centered approach that creates care and support tailored to the individual's life situation, needs, wishes, and right to influence their own life.
Job Responsibilities
The Deputy Unit Manager role involves planning, leading, and following up the unit's work within the framework of the operation. You will work closely with the Unit Manager, who has overall responsibility and primarily represents the operation. You will have an active role in personnel, economic, and operational development.
A key part of the role is to develop, plan, and prioritize high-quality operational processes through effective work methods, approaches, and routines. This includes close collaboration with employees based on operational goals and expectations. You will be the Unit Manager's right hand, leading and distributing daily work. This also involves managing and supporting staff in practical matters and situations.
The position is a 6-month temporary assignment where we want to test an alternative management organization approach. You will have the opportunity to influence the role's design and specific tasks. At the end of the temporary period, we will evaluate the Deputy Unit Manager approach, which will form the basis for deciding the future management structure.
Qualifications
We are seeking candidates with a college or university degree, or equivalent vocational education of at least 200 points in the relevant field. Experience in leading groups and individuals, and working in care and support, is advantageous.

You should thrive in an environment where you can take initiative and work independently while also appreciating teamwork. As a person, you are structured, meticulous, solution-oriented, and have a positive attitude towards change. You can prioritize work, meet deadlines, build relationships, and communicate effectively while being attentive. Personal suitability is crucial. A driver's license is required.
