The School Administration is seeking a Deputy Director of Operations for Primary Education. The role involves working alongside the Director of Operations to lead and develop the municipality's primary schools, focusing on quality, equity, and student learning.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As Deputy Director of Operations, you will be part of the school administration leadership, working closely with the Director of Operations in overseeing primary school operations. You will help maintain the management chain from governing body to instruction, actively working to ensure schools have the necessary conditions to meet their documented goals.
The role includes supporting and strengthening principals in their strategic and daily leadership. You will follow up, analyze, and initiate development efforts that lead to improved results. This involves working holistically and long-term in systematic quality management, and contributing to a culture based on analysis and shared responsibility.
The position includes personnel, financial, and operational responsibilities. You will report to the Primary School Director and be part of the school administration's management team.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are seeking candidates with several years of leadership experience in education, preferably with experience leading through other managers. You should have experience in leading improvement work and school development, focusing on quality and goal achievement.
You should have good knowledge and understanding of school governance documents and systematic quality work, but most importantly, curiosity and interest in developing our operations together with primary school principals.
You should have a university degree in education and completed principal training.
