We are an F–6 school with approximately 500 students and 80 staff members.
We are located in the picturesque Sköndal, close to parks, lakes, and natural areas that we often visit. The school has a dedicated local teaching group (LSU) for grades 1–6, as well as a regional special teaching group (RSU) focused on autism.

About the role
As the assistant principal for grades 4–6 and our local special teaching group, you are an important part of the school management. You lead the daily work closely with students and staff and are responsible for operations, personnel, and finances delegated by the principal. You create conditions to achieve common goals and contribute to an open climate where collaboration and diverse perspectives are valued. You see collaboration within the management team as a crucial success factor and actively contribute to an open and trusting atmosphere.
Your mission includes:
- Driving school development with a focus on quality, safety work, student influence, and digitalization.
- Ensuring a pedagogically well-functioning operation with clear goals and high results.
- Being primarily responsible for staff and students in grades 4–6 and LSU.
- Contributing to a good work environment and a culture characterized by engagement and participation.
Your qualifications and experience
We are looking for someone who has:
- A teaching license with qualifications for primary school
- Experience teaching grades 4–6
- Good knowledge of and experience with digital tools in teaching
- Current experience as an assistant principal in primary education
- Experience in student health work.
Meritorious:
- Ongoing or completed principal training program
- Experience working with special teaching groups
- Experience leading safety work and digitalization processes.
