GTG is part of Gothenburg Technical College - a competence-driven educational company dedicated to strengthening technical and industrial skills for both young people and adults. We are seeking a technically knowledgeable deputy principal who wants to help develop future technical education and contribute to giving young people the best possible conditions for further studies and working life. About the Assignment As deputy principal, you will become a central part of the school's management and will sit on the management team of Gothenburg Technical College. In our organization, we are two deputy principals responsible for leading our upper secondary school, managing daily operations, and driving development together with our committed employees. The assignment does not include personnel responsibility, which means you can fully focus on ensuring the quality of our teaching, following governing documents, and meeting the industry's future competence needs. Your Primary Responsibilities • Program responsibility for upper secondary school education • Quality and development work related to teaching, results, and workplace connection • Budget and resource planning linked to the operation • Collaborate with industrial companies and external partners • Actively contribute to the school's management work and strategic development About You We are looking for someone with experience in school leadership and program responsibility. You have completed principal training and have a good understanding of the upper secondary school's mission, and thrive in the intersection between pedagogical development and operational management. Experience with technical education is meritorious. We place great importance on personal suitability, especially your ability to create engagement, build trust, and drive development together. Having a university degree is a requirement for the position.
