About the Role and Your Responsibilities
As a school leader at Hedda Andersson High School, you will have a unique opportunity to influence how the school's teaching is designed and how our fine new facilities will be utilized.
The operation is organized into pedagogical process teams around a number of classes in the school's programs. Some of the teaching is project-oriented, and we also collaborate with our external network to ensure that students' work is based on real-world challenges and presented to external stakeholders.
Each team has a pedagogical process leader who manages the team's work in daily operations. As deputy principal, you have responsibility for students, staff, and work environment for the Science and Technology programs. You will work closely with the pedagogical process leaders and the school's student health team.
Together with the principal, other deputy principals, and the administrative manager, you are part of the school's management group and work on school-wide issues such as conducting the best possible operations within given frameworks and budget.
We Are Seeking Someone
who is collaborative and creates a positive climate in the groups where you are involved. You are accustomed to developing the operation together with your colleagues and have great trust in your employees. You have experience with organizations in transition and contribute to solutions. You are proactive, courageous, and analytical. You have a salutogenic approach and a great interest in pedagogy. The daily work of student learning is your driving force. You are curious about future challenges and well-versed in educational research.
You have extensive experience teaching at high school or middle school levels. It is meritorious if you have experience working in a school leadership position at the high school level and have relevant leadership training, such as the principal program.
We also seek someone who is well-versed in high school governance documents and has experience working closely with student health professionals in student health teams.

About the Workplace
Hedda Andersson High School is Lund Municipality's newest high school focused on creativity, initiative, and entrepreneurship. Together, we are taking the first steps toward creating a better future for everyone. Hedda started in 2018 and offers economics, technology, social science, and science programs. Hedda Andersson High School currently has 1,300 students and grows with each academic year. In the summer of 2023, we moved into our newly built school building on Svanevägen/Möllegatan, which can accommodate 1,650 high school students and 350 elementary school students.
