Snickarbarnen Preschools is currently a family-owned company operating four preschools in Värmdö and Sollentuna municipalities. Snickarbarnen has been established since 2009, and our preschools are well-functioning with excellent references. Our preschools vary in size and structure. Regardless of size and number of children, the foundation of our working methods is consistent across all preschools. Our pedagogical approach is based on the Reggio Emilia philosophy, an exploratory method where we experiment and investigate through collaborative projects. We focus on a learning process that stems from the child's curiosity. Children who want to know ask questions and explore. Children who analyze and reflect. We strive to create an environment that encourages exploration, where both children and educators face challenges, and where curiosity becomes a natural basis for teaching and part of everyday life. Curious educators foster curious children. Our two larger preschools are located in Mölnvik and Charlottendal. *Värmdö-Charlottendal: 155-160 children and 27 staff. *Värmdö-Mölnvik: approximately 100 children and 17 staff. In Sollentuna, we have two smaller preschools located in Sjöberg and Häggvik. *Sollentuna-Sjöberg: approximately 45 children and 10 staff. *Sollentuna-Häggvik: 25 children and 4 staff. In Sollentuna, we have an assistant principal responsible for both units; this advertisement pertains to the preschools in Värmdö. As of January 1, 2026, Lärande förskolor och grundskolor AB will take over the management. The leadership function at the preschools is therefore under development, and a significant part of the role will be to collaborate within the school leadership team, consisting of the principal, assistant principal, and special educator, to establish the new management organization. Within the school leadership, you will collectively be responsible for shaping the pedagogical activities so that all children develop in accordance with the goals and regulations governing preschools. A major part of the role is pedagogical leadership, focusing on development based on the needs and goals of the organization. You will also be involved in systematic work environment efforts and quality work. You will be responsible for structuring the preschools' administrative work, clarifying applicable routines to contribute to creating coherence and equity between the units. The intention is for the school leadership to alternate between the different units so that employees experience the presence from management that they appreciate and need for the continued development of the operations. As an assistant principal, you need to be structured, flexible, and able to see opportunities instead of obstacles. You are attentive and clear towards guardians and educators, and you are committed to creating a work environment where every employee feels seen and involved. You are responsible for ensuring that the company's philosophy and values are upheld, that the education maintains a high pedagogical level, and that the applicable rules and guidelines are met. You have a clear leadership style based on trust, engagement, and decisiveness. You are responsible for ensuring that the preschools have an effective and safe organization. Through your leadership, you enable both the operations and educators to grow and develop to new levels. You will have continuous contact and work in close collaboration with the principal, who is your immediate supervisor.
