Bistro Manager – Evenings & Weekends

Do you want to combine service, sales, and a passion for food? We are looking for someone to be responsible for our Bistro in the evenings and on weekends, while also actively working with sales at our manual counters. This is a role where you combine personal service in the dining area with hands-on work in the store – a perfect opportunity for those who enjoy both customer interaction and a fast-paced environment. **About the Role** • You will work 1–2 evenings a week and every other weekend • You are the Bistro Host – welcoming guests, serving food & drinks, setting the table, creating atmosphere • You will also work at our manual counters selling fresh fish, cheese, charcuterie, and ready-to-eat meals • You collaborate closely with kitchen and store staff • On certain evenings, you will be responsible for smaller events or wine tastings **We are looking for someone who:** • Has at least 2–3 years of experience in a restaurant, café, or retail • Is sociable, proactive, and solution-oriented • Has an eye for detail, table setting, and ambiance • Enjoys alternating between serving and retail – and can greet guests warmly whether in the dining area or at the fish counter **Extra points if you:** • Have worked with sales over manual counters (fish, cheese, charcuterie, prepared meals) • Have basic knowledge of wine/beer (or are eager to learn) **Please Note** – according to alcohol laws, you must: • Be at least 20 years old • Be approved as the responsible server by the municipality **How We Work** The bistro is open when the store is open. You will often be the one who welcomes, serves, keeps order, and simultaneously engages customers who want to purchase from the counters. The position requires a strong presence in the premises, good customer insight, and a lively pace.
