Welcome to Blekinge's largest employer, where your opportunities for development are promising. **JOB DESCRIPTION** The Authority Office is part of the Eldercare Administration's overall operations, which carries out authority exercises based on social services legislation and the Housing Adjustment Act. We are responsible for assessing assistance for residents over 65, making decisions about housing adjustments, and managing investigations and fee handling for residents of all ages. Our work is characterized by treating people with respect and enabling them to live active and secure lives with maintained independence. Working as an assistance officer at the Authority Office means you will be responsible for investigating the need for assistance, making assessments, and making decisions according to social services legislation on behalf of individuals over 65. The role of the assistance officer also includes participating in the planning/coordinating of interventions and collaborating both internally and externally with providers and other partners. Work and documentation are carried out, among other things, in the operational systems Life Care and Prator. We base our assessments on the IBIC model. The work is focused on quality and legal certainty, with the user at the center. **QUALIFICATIONS** - A degree in social work or equivalent education deemed relevant by the employer. - B driving license. - Proficiency in Swedish and computer skills. - Strong command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, which includes good digital skills as high demands are placed on communication and documentation. - Knowledge of relevant legislation and application (Sol). It is advantageous if you have good knowledge of legislation and application within the realm of social services (Sol), as well as knowledge and experience of LSS legislation. It is also beneficial if you have advanced education in law, such as administrative law or social services legislation.
