The Procurement Unit for Disability and Social Psychiatry consists of 36 employees, organized into three specialized groups: social psychiatry, disability for children and young people, and disability for adults.
The unit is staffed with three unit managers and 31 case workers, of which one works in outreach. We are now expanding the unit with 2 additional case worker positions.

Your role
As a case worker, you have the opportunity to work with the individual at the center, and your work within disability support is significant and multifaceted.
You will work with adults who need support services in their daily lives. With the individual’s needs at the center, the case worker assesses the needs for interventions according to LSS and SoL and follows up on the decided interventions. Your work will include meeting the applicant and their relatives, as well as collaborating with other stakeholders. You will also participate in developmental work within the unit. The investigation work is carried out with the support of the investigation and follow-up system DUR. You will conduct legally valid investigations, which also includes writing statements based on case law. Invoice management is part of the job responsibilities.
Your qualifications and experience
For this position, you are required to have:
- A degree in social work or other education deemed equivalent.
- Experience in assistance assessment.
- Very good IT skills.
- Very good knowledge of Swedish, both written and spoken.
It is an advantage if you have:
- Experience with the target group.
- Language skills in languages other than Swedish and English.
- Experience in mentoring other employees.
