We are now seeking an engaged, courageous, and structured employee who wants to contribute to legally secure and high-quality public administration within the Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS). As an LSS case manager in Åstorp municipality, you will work closely with your colleague and in a team of 4 case managers and a social psychiatry case manager. About the Role As an LSS case manager, you will work through the entire administrative process, from application and investigation to decision and follow-up. Your work will be based on current legislation, legal praxis, and our internal routines. You will closely collaborate with colleagues, other authorities, and the individual's network, always focusing on legal certainty, participation, and respect for individual needs. The work requires good structure, independence, and the ability to make well-grounded decisions. Simultaneously, you need to be curious, brave, and have genuine commitment to creating conditions for people to live independently. Documentation is done in the Life Care system and Mina Planer, using the IBIC investigation method, where the individual's own resources and needs are the central starting point. QUALIFICATIONS We are seeking someone who: • Has a social work degree or equivalent higher education approved by the employer • Has good knowledge of public administration and/or experience with LSS legislation • Has experience working with people with disabilities • Is structured, analytical, and confident • Can create good relationships and collaborate with colleagues and internal/external actors • Is engaged and brave, willing to stand by assessments and decisions even in complex situations A B driver's license is desirable as travel may be required for the job.
