Job Responsibilities As a Social Services Case Manager, you will investigate, assess, and make decisions about interventions according to the Social Services Act (SoL). You will follow up on approved interventions for both individuals and service providers. We prioritize legal certainty, resource awareness, and a holistic approach in our work. You will collaborate with multiple actors, both internally and externally, and have contact with service users, relatives, and other relevant parties. Examples of job tasks: • Investigate and make decisions about interventions according to SoL • Follow up on approved interventions and collaborate with service providers • Maintain contact with service users, relatives, and other actors • Contribute to the development of legally secure and efficient processes Qualifications You have a degree in social work or another equivalent education with a social orientation. You are confident, structured, and have a good ability to work both independently and in a team. You are solution-focused, have good collaborative skills, and can prioritize when needed. Meriting: • Experience with public administration • Knowledge of IBIC or BBIC • Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing • Driving license (B) (requirement) We are seeking someone who is positive, responsible, and has personal maturity. You can structure your work efficiently, work goal-oriented, and contribute to the organization's development. You are flexible, accustomed to handling acute situations, and have a strong commitment to quality and user satisfaction. Since the job involves documentation, it is important that you have good language skills, are familiar with working in operational systems, and can balance individual needs with current legislation and practice. More about the Position This is a permanent full-time position (100%) with start date according to agreement. A probationary period may be applied. Together with Piteå residents, businesses, and associations, we are developing Piteå into an even better place to live, exist, and work. About Us Our unit consists of 15 case managers, a housing coordinator, and a unit manager. The Public Administration group consists of two teams, the Social Services Team and the LSS Team. The Social Services Team works with public administration according to the Social Services Act (SoL) for people over 65 and is tasked with investigating and assessing needs and following up interventions, in accordance with the department's current guidelines, delegation order, and legislation. The "One Entry" division within Social Services is divided into two units, Public Administration and Support for Subsistence.
