Work Responsibilities The Care Management Unit consists of four positions handling elderly care, one position managing social psychiatry, one for support and service according to LSS, and one dealing with housing adaptation grants and transportation permits. The unit also includes four caseworkers handling financial assistance, led by a unit manager and a senior social worker. We are now seeking a Care Management Officer for elderly care investigations. In this role, you will be responsible for public administration by investigating, assessing, and making decisions according to current legislation and regulations. You will serve as support for service users and their relatives, provide service and information, and collaborate with other care providers. The goal is to help elderly individuals receive appropriate support and service. The work involves qualified investigation and follow-up work, characterized by good interpersonal skills, well-founded decisions, and high legal certainty. Your assignment also includes participating in the systematic quality improvement work at the workplace. As we are a small group working closely together, cooperation is a crucial part of the job. Qualifications We are seeking candidates with a degree in Social Work, Social Care, Social Pedagogy, or another academic qualification deemed equivalent by the employer. Previous experience with public administration is meritorious. We are looking for someone who is confident, stable, and has good self-awareness. You should have a balanced perspective on relationships and be able to distinguish between personal and professional interactions. In your work, you will be relationship-oriented and enjoy collaboration within your team and with other organizations and authorities. You will meet people with diverse backgrounds and experiences, so it is important to be attentive and receptive. Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances with a solution-focused approach are crucial. You should be well-organized, able to plan your work independently, and communicate information clearly and simply, both verbally and in writing. Requirements Social Work degree, Social Care specialization, or equivalent academic qualification as determined by the employer; Driving License B.
