We are currently seeking a biomedical analyst for a temporary position in our unit. At our unit in Malmö, we are a wonderful group consisting of biomedical analysts, medical secretaries, biomedicine specialists, nursing assistants, laboratory assistants, and doctors. We are driven by the desire to help patients, and our goal is to provide a quality response in a reasonable timeframe. We also focus on how we can develop and work daily on various types of improvement projects.
Clinical genetics and pathology is an area of operation within the Medical Service administration, division Labmedicin in Region Skåne. We operate at four locations: Malmö, Lund, Helsingborg, and Kristianstad under a common operations manager. We provide histopathological, cytological, and molecular pathological services to private practitioners, health centers, local hospitals, emergency hospitals, and Skåne University Hospital (Sus), as well as offering specialized expertise and consultation within the Southern Healthcare Region.
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a colleague for a temporary position of approximately one year at our pathology laboratory in Malmö.
As a biomedical analyst with us, you will be offered a varied job with a high pace of development and significant responsibility. You will work in a modern histopathological laboratory that is at the forefront of the digitalization of diagnostics. You will perform standard tasks at a histopathological laboratory such as cutting, embedding, sectioning, staining, and digital delivery.
QUALIFICATIONS
You who are applying are a licensed biomedical analyst with the authority to work in Swedish healthcare and have language skills in Swedish at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s scale. We prefer that you have practical experience and specialization in histopathology and morphological techniques. It is also an advantage if you have previously worked in a pathology laboratory.
As a person, you are independent, proactive, and have an easy time collaborating. Furthermore, you are flexible and communicative. You enjoy working in a laboratory setting and have a general technical interest. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
