The Cardiology Clinic consists of several different specialist clinics for patients with heart and vascular diseases. In addition to nurse-led specialist clinics within our various teams, such as anticoagulation, arrhythmia, pacemaker/ICD, heart failure, and ischemia, we also have physician and physiotherapy consultations.
We work in excellent facilities at Drottninggatan 7. Here, we cherish a pleasant and enjoyable work environment that is created and maintained by our fantastic employees. Together, we engage in continuous and structured improvement work where everyone is involved.
We currently have a team of 25 employees, including doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, biomedical analysts, and medical secretaries. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
At the Cardiology Clinic, there is a strong tradition of research where you will play a key role. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the initiation of new studies and being the one who manages and organizes the research process. Your work will also involve handling samples and the documentation required to conduct a clinical study. You will actively contribute to facilitating the recruitment of study participants and ensure that your colleagues have the correct information and resources for research to be an integrated part of the operations.
In this role, you will work broadly within the entire cardiology department and communicate with patients as well as research partners through various channels. You will collaborate closely with other nurses, doctors, medical secretaries, paramedics, researchers/investigators, sponsors, monitors, and study participants. Continuing education in both clinical research and cardiology is a given in this role.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for a licensed nurse or biomedical analyst authorized to practice within the Swedish healthcare system. You must have language skills in Swedish that meet at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s language scale. We also require good IT skills and proficiency in English.
A doctoral degree is an advantage. Previous experience in research and training in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) is also beneficial. Experience in cardiology is desirable.
