About this role
At the Physiological Laboratory in Hudiksvall, biomedical scientists, nurses, doctors, and nursing assistants work together.
We are part of the Heart Unit at Hudiksvall Hospital and work together toward three operational goals:
* Our patients should receive the right care at the right time.
* Our work methods should be modern and efficient.
* Our employees should enjoy their work.
We perform spirometry, EEG, long-term ECG, echocardiography, exercise tests, and also have CPAP and pacemaker clinics. We are also developing collaborative work with radiology regarding vascular examinations. One of our colleagues is moving on to new challenges, so we are now seeking a new team member. We are a pleasant group open to development.
DUTIES
As a biomedical scientist with us, you will work with:
• Performing exercise tests
• Echocardiography
• Long-term ECG
• Long-term blood pressure monitoring
• Thumb ECG
• Spirometry
• EEG
• Helping to initiate collaboration with radiology for vascular ultrasound.

QUALIFICATIONS
In the role of biomedical scientist, you should:
• Be a licensed biomedical scientist
• Have competence and experience in heart echocardiography or be willing to learn this.
