Within the health and medical care administration, primary care, dental care, and hospital care are gathered under a common administration and organized into county and local healthcare areas. The local healthcare area of Skellefteå includes the Emergency Department, Medical and Geriatric Clinic, Rehabilitation Center, Psychiatric Clinic, 1177, Center for Surgical Operations, as well as primary care in Skellefteå and Norsjö. Together, these services aim to provide good and accessible care.
The Medical and Geriatric Clinic in Skellefteå is one of the largest clinics in the hospital with approximately 300 employees. The clinic currently has 62 patient beds distributed across four wards with different medical specialties. We conduct outpatient services in internal medicine and geriatrics, where teamwork is a central part of our working method. Within the clinic's organization, there is also a research unit with several active researchers, which provides excellent opportunities to combine clinical duties with research.
We are currently seeking a Biomedical Analyst with a specialization in Clinical Physiology. In this role, you will be an important part of the team at the Medical and Geriatric Outpatient Clinic. We have a close collaboration within the clinic where biomedical analysts, nursing assistants, nurses, doctors, and other professionals work together for the benefit of the patient.
As a biomedical analyst, we can offer you a varied, rewarding, and meaningful job that takes place close to the patient, where you have the opportunity to make a tangible difference in the care chain. Working hours are scheduled during the day, Monday to Friday.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a BMA with us, you will contribute knowledge and commitment that makes people feel secure. The unit conducts consultations for BMAs, doctors, and nurses. The unit performs resting ECGs, exercise ECGs, long-term ECGs, 24-hour blood pressure monitoring, walking tests, spirometry, EEGs, as well as echocardiograms, pacemaker, and ICD consultations. The work includes administrative tasks. The role of BMA involves close collaboration with colleagues, cardiologists, and various team activities.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for a licensed biomedical analyst in clinical physiology. Experience working as a biomedical analyst is an advantage.
