Laboratory medicine in Dalarna encompasses clinical chemistry, clinical microbiology, and transfusion medicine, where we collaborate across departments. Our operations are county-wide with laboratories located in Avesta, Borlänge, Falun, Ludvika, and Mora.
We are currently seeking a Biomedical Analyst for Clinical Chemistry in Falun. Within Laboratory Medicine Dalarna, we have 155 employees, of which 50 work in clinical chemistry in Falun. The Clinical Chemistry department in Falun operates 24/7.

**Responsibilities**
The area of work is Clinical Chemistry and your responsibilities will include:
- Independent laboratory work
- Assessment and technical approval of analyses
- Guidance of students
- Reporting and documentation of disturbances and deviations in equipment, work routines, and operations
- Communication with customers regarding inquiries and results
- Taking necessary actions in response to abnormal control results.
As a biomedical analyst in Laboratory Medicine, we offer a varied and stimulating role with opportunities for development in several interesting areas. We are looking for a licensed Biomedical Analyst with an interest in clinical chemistry. You are independent, responsible, and enjoy working both autonomously and collaboratively with colleagues. You possess good communication skills and the ability to work well with both colleagues and customers. A service-oriented and accommodating attitude is essential, as you contribute to a positive work environment. The role requires great attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team; therefore, proficiency in the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is necessary. During on-call hours, staff availability is limited, making it especially important to be able to work independently and collaborate effectively with everyone. Personal suitability will be highly valued.
