Clinical Pathology is an independent clinic within the Diagnostic Center at the University Hospital in Linköping.
At our laboratory, analyses are performed in histology and cytology for diagnostics, which then form the basis for further treatment of the patient.

Job Description
Your background, skills, and experience will be matched against the needs of the organization. Many of our tasks involve manual work with high precision, which means that quality awareness for the patient and their samples is of great importance. We are constantly working to develop and improve laboratory processes through method development, quality monitoring, and optimization. Working with us is varied, challenging, and stimulating – the work you do has significance for the diagnosis of diseases and the type of treatment the patient will receive. Clinical Pathology is a major part of cancer care, where constant development and new methods and analyses pave the way for faster and better care for the patient. In addition, we offer you a wonderful workplace and great colleagues to collaborate with in a developing field.
About You
We are looking for a licensed biomedical analyst, with a university degree in medical biology or another university degree deemed equivalent. You have excellent knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. Practical experience in laboratory work and sample handling within clinical operations is an advantage. You have a pronounced patient focus and are meticulous and structured in your work approach.
You have the ability to work independently, possess a solution-oriented mindset, and can easily switch between different tasks. Good collaboration skills and quality awareness are additional important qualities that are sought after.

This position is a temporary contract until the summer of 2027. Working hours are straight weeks from 07:30 to 16:00 with the possibility of flexibility. We work with ongoing selection, and interviews will also be conducted on an ongoing basis, so please submit your application as soon as possible.
