Stålvallaskolan is a K-9 school located in Lesjöfors, about 30 kilometers north of Filipstad.
The school has approximately 100 students. We offer you a friendly working environment along with positive and supportive colleagues. We work in two teams divided into K-5 and 6-9. At our school, we have a student health team consisting of an assistant principal, special educator, counselor, and school nurse.
We are now seeking someone who, together with us, wants to provide our students with the very best conditions during their time at school!
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for teaching visual arts in grades 1-9. The position includes standard tasks such as subject planning, teaching, documentation, supervising breaks, and participating in the work team. You will plan and conduct lessons as well as assess and grade students' knowledge in the subject.
Qualifications
We are looking for a licensed primary school teacher. Qualification requirements apply according to the Education Act. You have a professional approach, are engaged in working with students, and contribute to their development in meeting the goals. You take responsibility for creating good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. You believe that student health work is important and continuously follow up on your students.
You need to be a confident and clear leader with a focus on students' goal fulfillment. We see you as a teacher who builds your instruction on close pedagogical relationships with students and who is passionate about meeting students in their individual development based on their experiences, prior knowledge, needs, and abilities.

Conditions
For this position, presenting a valid extract from the police criminal record is a prerequisite for employment.
