Hälsinglands Education Association is a municipal association formed by Bollnäs and Söderhamn municipalities with the mission to meet students' demand for education with breadth and quality.
The association's work shall be characterized by being a driver of growth, a broker of education, and a meeting place for development. We operate upper secondary and adult education programs for the municipalities' inhabitants, and provide opportunities for vocational higher education and distance studies at colleges and universities. We also offer commissioned training for companies and organizations, as well as opportunities for research and development.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a licensed teacher in art and textile crafts for the individual program at Höghammar Upper Secondary School, the adapted high school within Hälsinglands Education Association. It is crucial for us in the recruitment process that there is a genuine interest in working with students in our target group.
The position is 50% employment.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is qualified to teach art and textile crafts in an adapted upper secondary school. Experience in teaching within the individual program of an adapted high school is merit-worthy. You should be well-versed in curriculum and subject area plans and have a good ability to create safe and positive relationships with students. It should be important to you to create a good learning environment that starts from the student's specific conditions and needs, and you can seek individual solutions that focus on the student's entire learning situation. You are confident as a person, can work independently and collaboratively. You take responsibility for your entire teaching assignment. You have commitment and a desire to actively contribute to the collegial processes of the organization.
