We are now looking for you, a Service Technician for Volvo, or as we call it, Personal Service Technician, to join our team in Gävle. The Personal Service Technician concept focuses on how we operate in our workshops with the customer at the center. Bilbolaget is an authorized dealer of Volvo, Ford, Renault, and Dacia, which are some of Sweden's strongest brands, offering a wide range of options in the market. Your next challenge As a Personal Service Technician, you will plan your own day and have direct contact and booking with your customers. You will greet customers when they visit the workshop and assist them at every step of the process—from reception, work planning, service and repairs, to returning the car and finally processing payment. We work in pairs on our lifts. This modern approach is primarily designed to reduce stress for employees but also to increase efficiency. Working in a team with a colleague allows for natural knowledge transfer and a collaborative work style where you and your colleagues develop together. You will have the support of a team of leaders and other expertise to facilitate your daily work. With performance-based pay, you have the opportunity to influence your salary each month. Today's cars are loaded with technology, featuring over 100 control units that communicate across various networks. The rapid development in this field means we invest heavily in the development of our technicians through training, online courses, and more. Who are you? To succeed in the role of Service Technician with us, you need an interest in modern technology and a knack for problem-solving through diagnostics and electronics. We also expect you to: - Enjoy providing service - Be skilled at communication - Thrive in working with people and technology - Be stress-resistant - Be flexible - Maintain a positive attitude You are quality-conscious and possess good prioritization and administrative skills. The job requires you to have a technical education in automotive technology, good computer skills, and the ability to express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish. Since you will be working closely with customers, we also expect you to have the ability to build strong customer relationships. Experience in similar roles is desirable, and prior work with Volvo is a plus, but not a requirement. We would appreciate good references from successfully managing customer interactions.
