We at Fredahuset are a wonderful team consisting of social workers, social pedagogues, and security personnel with a big heart for our clients. We are located in several places in Sweden, and for the housing facilities where we are currently seeking staff, it is an advantage if you live in the Mälaren region and surrounding areas (not Stockholm). As we are growing, we have multiple job postings, and this position is for a permanent full-time employment starting with a 6-month probationary period.
The work primarily involves support and safety conversations, practical assistance, transportation, documentation, and childcare, among other tasks.
You need to have at least 180 ECTS credits in social work and one year of professional experience in social or pedagogical work. As a person, you are child-friendly, empathetic, and passionate about helping others. Furthermore, you are flexible, proactive, and able to work independently. You understand the difference between being personal and private.
The position is primarily during weekday daytime, but work during evenings/weekends may be required as needed. The role includes being on-call at home during certain periods.
We recommend that you are resident in the Mälaren region and surrounding areas. In your application, you need to provide your address so we can calculate your response time based on scheduled on-call duty at home.
A Class B driver's license, access to a personal vehicle, and the ability to speak and write excellent Swedish are required.
