**JOB DESCRIPTION**
The role as Decision Support in the area of Probation Services in Östergötland is an exciting and central position that works strategically, operationally, and administratively on issues related primarily to the client process. The Probation Services in Östergötland have offices in Linköping, Norrköping, and Västervik. We are now looking for a Decision Support for the Probation Service in Linköping, with a special mandate related to the enforcement team. As Decision Support, you will assist the operations within the area of Probation Services in Östergötland and work closely with the management functions of the operations, collaborating with staff who have an overarching mandate for the operational area, such as process support, security officers, and intelligence operators.
In the role of Decision Support, you will assist the correctional inspector, probation officer, and other employees in their work with client decisions/client processes. Your assignment will involve making decisions on individual client cases based on delegation, ensuring the quality of decisions in relation to laws, regulations, and manuals in collaboration with colleagues, as well as ensuring the quality of language and other formalities. The work includes documenting the Probation Service's decision meetings and supporting employees in developing decisions and decision bases, as well as guiding them in client cases. Additionally, you will participate in the Probation Service's collegium and actively engage in the legal care forum/practice forum. The role also includes identifying needs and proposing structures for how the work can be conducted most effectively in dialogue with the manager and other employees, as well as driving the implementation of these processes. You will collaborate closely with other Decision Support staff in the operational area, with the opportunity to co-develop the role.

We are seeking someone with:
• A Bachelor's degree with a focus on law, behavioral sciences, or political science, or other training complemented by relevant experience for the position.
• Current experience from the Probation Service's operations.
• Experience in case handling and exercising authority.
• Good knowledge of administrative law.
• Proficiency in the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
It is advantageous if you have:
• Experience working as Decision Support.
• Experience in guiding or coaching tasks.
• Recent experience working as a probation officer.
• Experience with supervisory case handling, RBM-B, VSP, and PU.
• Experience working with youth supervision.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with internal and external cooperation.
