About this role
We at Bilprovningen are now seeking additional employees for our station in Upplands Väsby!
Vehicle inspection is our core business, and in the role of Inspection Technician, you will inspect vehicles and ensure they meet established safety requirements. Inspections are performed independently or together with your colleagues at the station, with the help of technical aids, computer equipment, measuring instruments, and tools.
Our customers visit us from early morning until the afternoon, and during certain periods customer volume can be especially high or low, which requires a strong sense of service and flexibility since our goal is to help all customers. This also means that we support each other when needed, and you may be loaned to work at other stations in the same region and in some cases around the country. As we strive to be available and adaptable for our customers, we are also open on certain weekend days each month.
Who are you?
To thrive in the role of inspection technician, we believe you are service-oriented and stimulated by meeting people. You are a responsible person driven by doing a good job and collaborating with others. When meeting customers, you are informative, friendly, attentive, and trustworthy. We see that you have a completed high school education. Having a Class B driver's license (Manual) is a requirement. If you already have K1 inspection authorization, this is a clear advantage. We only inspect light vehicles and motorcycles at this station, so we prefer that you are interested in certifying for motorcycles as well.
You need to have some vehicle knowledge; knowing what you are working with and what different vehicle parts are called is important to do a good job and be able to answer customer questions.
You should have the ability to meet our customers in a humble way and be able to communicate clearly when providing various types of information, as we work with safety, so it is crucial that you feel comfortable communicating freely. Language skills beyond Swedish are meritorious but not required.
What do we offer you?
We offer you a good introduction and thereby an individualized training program. Immediately after completing training, you will take a test to become a certified inspection technician. Studies are conducted full-time north of Stockholm and are adapted to your existing qualifications. After completing training and certification, you will begin working at your station. We offer a fun job, many benefits, and good employment conditions.
