About the role:
We are now looking for a new colleague and inspection engineer in lift safety! Through inspections of various types of lifting devices, you will contribute to increased safety for our clients. You will work independently at our clients' locations across various industries, from hospitals and shopping centers to heavy industry, car workshops, and the aviation sector. To thrive in this role, we see that you have a strong technical interest and enjoy the social aspect of meeting clients. Furthermore, you thrive on challenges and have a desire to constantly develop and learn more. During your initial time at Kiwa, you will regularly attend training sessions at other locations.
Lifting devices you may inspect include:
• Cranes and hoists
• Elevators and escalators
• Excavators, wheel loaders, and construction machinery
• Wind turbines
• Ski lifts
The position is based in Kiruna. Travel with overnight stays may occur.
Do you have what it takes?
• Technical high school education or vocational training, aviation technical education, or equivalent acquired experience through work.
• A balance between theoretical and practical knowledge
• Social competence
• Interest in technology and people
• B driver's license
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
It is an advantage if you have experience in the inspection industry or have worked with cranes, construction machinery, mobile work platforms, elevators, or similar. To succeed as an inspection engineer, you are attentive, curious, driven, and meticulous.
