About the Position
As a tourism development coordinator, you will be a key person in the municipality's efforts to develop and create reasons for visitors to come to our community. Your main task will be to coordinate the Baltic Sea Festival, a city festival that attracts both local and distant visitors. The festival is an important part of the municipality's identity and the development of the tourism sector.
In addition to the festival, you will also:
• Work with project management, development, and marketing of the tourism sector
• Collaborate with the business community to create experiences that enhance the municipality's attractiveness and sense of community
• Partner with businesses, local associations, and cultural actors to create conditions for events
Qualifications:
• Relevant post-secondary education, such as a university or vocational college degree in tourism/event/project management, business development, or other relevant education and/or equivalent experience
• Experience in project management and/or event production
• Experience with budget work
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• B driver's license
Meritorious:
• Experience working in a politically governed organization
• Relevant networks

Information about the Position
The employment is a permanent full-time position.
