JOB DESCRIPTION
As the Preparedness Coordinator within the Infrastructure department, you are expected to lead and facilitate the planning related to security-related issues within the department. This includes security classification of personnel, planning exercises, and developing necessary documents with action plans to ensure the department can function effectively even during major incidents. You are also responsible for ensuring that all documents are up to date, that we comply with various regulations, and that we report accordingly, such as the NIS Directive.
Initially, the prioritized focus will be on building structure and collaboration for upcoming processes and working methods related to the security work that the department is currently facing. Together with the department manager, you will develop strategies and processes for the department regarding the overall security work, and you will also be part of the department's management team. You will be involved and proactive in continuity plans and action plans, initiating the planning of measures/exercises and ensuring that these are anchored within the department's units.
You will collaborate with internal specialists and providers, as well as external consultants and contractors, both in the projects you lead and as support in the sector's overarching strategic work alongside sector support functions and the municipality's overall security function. It is your responsibility to continuously follow up on governing documents and action plans, as well as to manage various issues related to these both before and during implementation. You will also ensure that action plans linked to the governing documents are followed and included as activities in the department's annual cycle and operational plan.
You will initiate, stimulate, and follow up on work, materials, and planning documents to secure the municipality's development in security matters within infrastructure. Through networking, working groups, and strategic meeting forums, you will promote collaboration across sector boundaries.
An important part of the job involves meetings and communication with relevant stakeholders such as internal colleagues and authorities. This requires you to be receptive, outgoing, and unpretentious, with the ability to express yourself clearly in both speech and writing, as well as to drive processes and action plans forward.

You have experience managing multiple processes simultaneously.
You have a higher education degree focused on security or other education and/or experience that the employer deems equivalent. You have documented experience in process management and processes.
Experience working with security within infrastructure is an advantage.
The work is independent but requires discipline and strong commitment. Experience in the public sector is desirable.
The position is located in the Infrastructure department's office.
Currently, the department has 24/7 preparedness, 365 days a year. For the right candidate, there is an opportunity to be involved in developing this aspect of the department and to be part of the preparedness management team, which involves leading and managing emergency incidents outside of office hours.
The position may be security classified in conjunction with other leading functions within the department.
Strong IT skills are a requirement.
Your position will be based at the Municipal Office at Strandvägen 15 in Stenungsund, just a few minutes' walk from the train station.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
A valid driver's license (B) is required.
The position is a permanent employment at 100%.
