About the Job In enforcement, our primary legal area is debt collection law, but we engage with civil law comprehensively. Your tasks involve making simple decisions and writing statements according to the Enforcement Code. Decisions relate to objections against enforcement. You will apply your legal expertise primarily in preparatory work based on applied guidelines and practice. You will have daily contact with our customers and other external parties. You may also prepare legal issues alongside our experienced lawyers/enforcement officers. You will also prepare incoming documents and handle administrative tasks. Everyone working at the Swedish Enforcement Authority contributes to combating crime. Your responsibilities include identifying and preventing attempted criminal activities and notifying other authorities about suspected offenses. As a legal preparatory officer, you can highlight various types of criminal activities in cases. This may result in preventing welfare fraud. Possible work locations are Malmö, Helsingborg, or Kristianstad. Travel to Malmö may occur in connection with the introduction. Good to Know The position is permanent and begins with a six-month probationary period. You will be employed as a lawyer. The Swedish Enforcement Authority offers the possibility of remote work by agreement with the employer. Working in the public sector means following the state's core values. Special requirements for judgment, security awareness, and compliance with applicable laws are expected. We will ask questions during the interview about any previous criminal history and employment shortcomings. For final candidates, these questions will also be asked of references. We will also obtain information about registered debts, bankruptcy, and business prohibitions. Revealed information will be weighed in the overall assessment of your suitability for the position. Employment may involve placement in a security class. A security review with register check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may be conducted before employment decision.
