About the Job
The East Investment Section within the Service Department prepares and executes commissioned work on the power grid in Jämtkraft's network area. As a preparatory planner with us, you will be the link between clients and field distribution electricians. You will be responsible for creating conditions for our distribution electricians when work moves from desk to reality in various power grid projects. The work involves preparing smaller and larger projects within the electricity distribution network, such as new construction or maintenance projects in substations or overhead and underground cable networks. Your role is to support projects by preparing various stages and creating documentation for different types of connections, from small service connections to larger new development areas.
The Position Includes:
• Conducting network calculations and economic calculations
• Managing permit issues with various parties (e.g., Swedish Transport Administration, Municipalities)
• Establishing and maintaining contact with landowners, customers, and authorities
• Ordering materials
• Handling technical solutions
• Documentation and follow-up
• Conducting investigations and analyses
The Preparatory Planner Role is a Combination of Working Closely with Project Execution and Having a Holistic Perspective to Draw Conclusions About Various Future Scenarios Jämtkraft Network May Face.
Who Are You?
To Succeed and Thrive in This Role, You Have at Least a Vocational College Education Focused on Electricity, Energy, Electric Power, or Similar. Alternatively, You Have Equivalent Competence Acquired Differently That We Assess as Equivalent. You Have Good System Familiarity and Enjoy Working in Various Digital Environments. Previous Experience with Mapping Systems is Preferred But Not Required.
