About the Position
AVA is one of our acute care units at the Acute & Reparative Medicine Theme in Huddinge. We have 18-24 care beds distributed across 3-4 teams, caring for patients with acute conditions in medicine, surgery, infection, and orthopedics. Patients are admitted directly from the emergency room to continue their examinations and treatments with us, and are then transferred to their home clinic or discharged home after diagnosis. We operate in a constantly changing work environment with high patient flows and short care periods. The average hospital stay at AVA is approximately 1.7 days. AVA currently has about 50 employees consisting of nurses, nursing assistants, and kitchen staff.
AVA has telemetry monitoring capabilities on all care beds, with the possibility of continuous monitoring of all vital parameters and Optiflow treatment.
In the role of staffing assistant, you will work closely with and report to nursing managers (OVC) in the unit. You thrive in a high-paced work environment where flexibility and a strong sense of responsibility are prerequisites for success. The role requires foresight, and it is important that you work with high integrity and great commitment. We work with personnel systems Tessa and Heroma.
In the role, you will work with:
Individual schedule planning
Short and long-term staffing planning
Involvement in the recruitment process together with OVC
Planning for new staff regarding onboarding schedules, permissions, etc.
Personnel administration, including generating statistics, overtime, and sick leave
Assisting managers with purchases
Taking and coordinating meeting minutes
Close dialogue regarding staffing with corresponding roles in other units within the theme
Employment Terms:
6-month probationary period, with the possibility of permanent employment thereafter.
Work hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM. No weekends.

Has a pronounced problem-solving mindset and can express themselves well verbally and in writing
Adapts easily to changing conditions, and remains calm and stress-resistant when needing to prioritize various tasks in the staffing assistant role
Has a developed service-oriented approach and functions well in various social situations

Qualifications
Requirements:
Education and experience working with personnel administration systems, preferably Tessa or Heroma
Previous experience with administrative work
Meriting:
Previous experience as a staffing assistant in 24/7 operations
Individual schedule planning
Familiarity with Heroma, Tessa, Navet, EK, Take Care, and Microsoft Office suite
