Furuboda Assistans is a private assistance provider in southern Sweden with roots in the non-profit Association Furuboda. The company was established in 2005 and is a growing enterprise. About the assignments:
Do you want a flexible and meaningful job where you can make a difference in people's everyday lives? We are currently seeking on-call personal assistants for our clients throughout Blekinge.
As an on-call employee, you will work in the absence of the regular assistant, for example, during illness or leave. This means you may sometimes be called in on short notice – a perfect part-time job for those who want to combine it with studies, other work, or retirement.
Our clients have different needs, but what they have in common is that the work as a personal assistant involves supporting a person in their daily life – at home, during leisure time, and sometimes at work or school. The tasks vary but can include everything from personal care to social support, practical chores, and active participation in the client's interests.
We are looking for someone who:
• Is responsible, flexible, and attentive
• Has a good empathetic ability and enjoys helping others
• Is independent but also a good team player
• Has good Swedish skills in both spoken and written form
• Holds a driver's license – advantageous but not always a requirement
Previous experience as a personal assistant or in healthcare and social services is advantageous but not a requirement. We value the right attitude, so training and orientation will be provided at the start.
Working hours:
Hourly employment as needed, during the day, evening, night, and weekends – as agreed.
Location:
Various locations within Blekinge County – for example, Karlskrona, Ronneby
