State Institutions Board (SiS) is a government agency responsible for individually tailored compulsory care for youth with complex psychosocial challenges and adults with substance abuse. SiS also implements closed youth care. We do this at youth homes and homes for adults with substance abuse, across the country. At SiS, your work life will be an exciting challenge. SiS Youth Home Råby receives both girls and boys. We have both closed and open placements for closed youth care and treatment placements for youth under LVU.
Job Description
As a treatment secretary at Råby, you will have a varied and exciting job.
This may include working with youth in the department alongside treatment educators to holding meetings with social services and planning youth treatment.
As a treatment secretary, you are responsible for documentation and treatment planning in consultation with the unit manager. The position involves working in a team with other professionals such as psychologists, teachers, treatment educators, etc. Additionally, you will maintain close contact with social services and the youths' networks.
The treatment secretary role may also involve serving as deputy unit manager.
Qualifications
The work places significant demands on personal suitability, especially regarding interaction. You should have a genuine interest in treatment work, a fundamental positive view of people, and the ability to meet individuals in vulnerable situations while maintaining high security awareness. You must be flexible, able to handle high workloads periodically, and capable of working both independently and in a group.
Requirements
• College degree of at least 210 credits in social/behavioral sciences, e.g., social work degree, or 180-credit degree in behavioral sciences, or other higher education deemed to meet SiS guidelines for competence requirements in coordinating/planning treatment work.
• Knowledge and experience in youth treatment work.
• Class B driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
• Leadership experience.
• Previous experience in compulsory care.
• Documentation experience in social investigations and official authority work.
