About Viljan Tjust Treatment Families
At Tjust Treatment Families, we work with qualified treatment for children and young people placed by social services in our treatment families. These children and young people often have a history of neglect, have experienced trauma in the form of violence and abuse, multiple previous placements, and often in combination with neuropsychiatric diagnoses. This is one of society's most vulnerable groups, with whom we create conditions for change through interdisciplinary teams. Our work model is based on a relational-psychodynamic and social-psychological perspective. The methods we use are firmly rooted in mentalization and attachment theory. Our operations are structured around an environmental therapeutic approach. At our office in Jönköping, we have a team consisting of a site manager/operations manager, treatment coordinator, and psychologist. Our treatment families are geographically located around Jönköping. A child psychiatrist is available on a consulting basis. Tjust Treatment Families also operates in Norrköping and Västervik. The organization started as a family business in 2004 and has been part of Attendo and Viljan since 2021.
