About this role
Villingsbergs HVB is a residential care home with 5 spots located between Örebro and Karlskoga. We work with girls aged 14-19 with destructive behaviors, psychosocial, psychiatric, and/or neuropsychiatric disabilities. We provide individualized care and use cognitive behavioral therapy in our treatment approach.
We are currently seeking part-time temporary staff who want to work with a focus on enabling each individual girl to develop according to her needs and circumstances.
We are looking for someone who understands the importance of creating supportive relationships with humor, self-awareness, clarity, and warmth, and who can recognize the girls' strengths. You should be a secure and clear adult who can establish boundaries, structure, and guidance for youth with extensive care needs, without escalating conflicts.
You are motivated, structured, and able to easily adapt to emerging situations.
You have knowledge in clarification techniques, low-affective approach, conversational methods, and previous experience working with this target group. The target group is challenging with complex issues, which requires you to be comfortable managing aggressive behaviors.
Work Responsibilities:
Your tasks will vary based on individual planning and needs, requiring flexibility and solution-oriented thinking. Responsibilities include support conversations, social skills training, daily tasks, communication with social services, family, school, healthcare, and other societal institutions, as well as documentation.
Scheduled work hours include day, evening, night, and weekend shifts
Competence Requirements:
- Education in human services profession
- Experience in similar work
- Class B driver's license
