About this role

Do you want to be offered an exciting and developing job while working to provide people with a better life every day? Do you also want the opportunity to grow within a company that values engagement, joy, and responsibility? Then you have the chance to apply for a position with us at Humana. In this role, you will work together with us towards our vision – Everyone has the right to a good life. About Us Villa Ängsbo is a residential care facility (HVB) within Humana that accommodates young individuals with neuropsychiatric disabilities (NPF), such as autism, intellectual disabilities (IF), and autism combined with ADHD or ADD. Our target group includes youths who have been in unsuitable environments and who exhibit or are at risk of developing norm-breaking behaviors related to crime or substance abuse. However, we do not accept boys actively dependent on substances. The treatment at Villa Ängsbo is based on Low-Arousal Approach (LAB) and clarifying pedagogy. Each young person receives individually tailored daily and weekly schedules, including visual support when necessary. An assigned contact person works closely with the youth for planning and follow-up on a weekly basis. We utilize the rePULSE method, which aims to enhance the youth’s self-awareness, emotional management, and social skills. Motivational Interviewing (MI) is used as a conversation model to promote reflection and willingness to change among the youths. The treatment focuses on creating a calm, structured, and safe environment that respects each youth's individual needs based on their diagnosis. We also view the network – family and guardians – as an important resource in the treatment and actively work to include them. The goal of the placement is to provide the youth with a better understanding of their diagnosis and life situation, as well as to equip them with tools to manage daily life and social relationships more safely. Prior to discharge, careful planning is conducted in collaboration with social services, the youth, and key relatives. Upon admission, we assess the educational needs in consultation with social services and guardians. We have a close partnership with local schools and conduct regular follow-ups. If schooling is not feasible, we motivate the youth to seek internships or jobs. Staffing: The facility is staffed with two treatment pedagogues during the day, as well as one awake and one sleeping staff member at night. We have a treatment manager, a coordinator, and a facility manager/director on-site Monday to Friday. All employees have substantial experience with the target group and expertise in NPF, LAB, clarifying pedagogy, and the methods we employ. Training and supervision occur regularly. The facility manager is a social worker with extensive experience working with youth. A nurse is connected to the facility, and we collaborate with Medicheck for regular follow-ups on the youths’ medical needs. About the Role Your main responsibilities include: • Care in the form of direct treatment work • Participation in assessment work • Network contacts • Documentation and development work We work with evidence-based methods, primarily focusing on clarifying pedagogy. This position is a permanent full-time employment. Work hours include daytime, evenings, awake nights, and weekends.
